These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of TaskPal's mobile application and website.
By accessing this application, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use TaskPal if you do not agree to all the terms and conditions stated on this page.
"Application" refers to TaskPal, including its mobile and web versions.
"We," "Us," and "Our" refer to TaskPal/Peak Hit Technologies.
"User," "You," and "Your" refer to the person accessing or using the Application, including both customers and service providers.
"Service Provider" refers to individuals or companies providing services via the Application.
"Customer" refers to individuals or entities seeking services from Service Providers through the Application.
"Job" refers to a task or service posted by a Customer on the Application.
"Bid" refers to a proposal submitted by a Service Provider to complete a Job.
To access certain features of the Application, you must register for an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Customers may post Jobs on the Application specifying the type of service required, budget, location, and any other relevant details.
Customers must ensure that all information provided in the Job post is accurate and up-to-date.
Service Providers can view Jobs and submit Bids based on their expertise and availability.
The Customer will review the Bids and select a Service Provider at their discretion.
Once a Job is accepted, a binding contract is formed between the Customer and the selected Service Provider.
All payments for Jobs must be made through the Application’s secure payment gateway.
Customers are required to authorize payment upon accepting a Service Provider’s Bid. Funds will be held in escrow until the Job is completed and confirmed by the Customer.
TaskPal may charge a service fee or commission on each transaction, which will be deducted before funds are released to the Service Provider.
Any disputes regarding payment must be resolved in accordance with our dispute resolution process.
Customers may cancel a Job before it is accepted by a Service Provider without any penalty.
If a Customer cancels a Job after a Service Provider has been hired, cancellation fees may apply.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with our refund policy.
Service Providers agree to provide services in a professional, competent, and timely manner.
Service Providers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to licensing, insurance, and health and safety.
Service Providers are solely responsible for the quality and integrity of the services they provide.
Users agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the Application.
Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to: harassment, abusive behavior, fraudulent activities, and posting or transmitting any material that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
If a dispute arises between a Customer and a Service Provider, both parties are encouraged to resolve the matter amicably.
If a resolution cannot be reached, TaskPal may intervene at its discretion and make a determination based on the evidence provided by both parties.
TaskPal’s decision in any dispute is final and binding.
TaskPal acts solely as an intermediary between Customers and Service Providers. We do not provide any services ourselves and are not responsible for the actions or omissions of any Service Providers.
TaskPal does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any services provided by Service Providers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaskPal disclaims all warranties, express or implied, related to the Application and the services offered through it.
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TaskPal, its affiliates, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to their use of the Application.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
TaskPal reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Application after such changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
